Technical Brief DescriptionThe invention relates to a bypass double-circuit rapid thermal wastewater source heat pump water heater and its control method. The water heater comprises a compressor, three-way valve, condenser, evaporator, expansion valve, water mixing valve, and pre-heating heat exchanger, and is divided into a heat pump system and a water supply system. The invention also provides a method of controlling the water heater. The water heater is not provided with a tank and is a single-flow passage rapid thermal water heater with a stable hot water temperature. It uses excess heat of wastewater as a heat source, which improves energy utilization and reduces energy consumption. In addition, a bypass circuit is used to provide additional heat for the evaporator using the exhaust heat from the compressor when the water heater is switched on, solving the problem of the tendency of evaporator to freeze when switched on. Furthermore, the said wastewater source heat pump water heater does not have a storage tank, i.e. it continuously supplies hot water in the form of a single flow passage, which solves the problem of time-consuming water heating and decaying water supply temperatures in common water heaters and improves user comfort.
