Technical principles and process routeThe fresh water for islands is provided by using the technology of RO seawater desalination.The RO principle is to separate fresh water from other substances, which cannot pass through the semipermeable membrane, under the condition of pressure higher than the osmotic pressure of the solution. In specific, the RO seawater desalination experiences the following process. The raw seawater from the submersible pump is pretreated by two-stage sand filtration, security filtration, and scale inhibitor. Through the desalination treatment of the primary RO system with energy recovery, the produced water enters the secondary RO system to continue desalination and produce freshwater.

商业应用情况岛用反渗透海水淡化成套技术及装备在我国长山群岛、南沙群岛、舟山群岛等海岛地区有着广泛的应用,典型示范工程如下: (1)三沙永兴岛海水淡化示范工程,规模1000m3/d,工程投产结束了永兴岛长期“靠天吃水”的历史。 (2)珠海东澳岛多元集成供水示范工程,可处理规模雨水400m3/d,岛水100m3/d,海水100m3/d,实现了一套装置处理多种原水。 (3)南极维多利亚地科考站海水淡化装置,规模5m3/d,自主开发的极地环境的海水淡化饮用水装置。 此外,膜法反渗透海水淡化技术已走出国门,在文莱、巴基斯坦、佛得角等多个“一带一路”国家和地区成功实施,为世界人民送去了宝贵的生命之泉。

设备投资设备投资主要包括以下5个部分的费用:取水系统、预处理系统、反渗透主机系统、电控仪表、管路阀门等。在没有厂房的条件可采用集装箱式设计。为满足不同海岛大小的用水需求,进了系列化产品定型,装置规模分别为5 m3/d、10 m3/d、20 m3/d、50 m3/d、100 m3/d、200 m3/d、500 m3/d。设备投资额在(15-900)万元,单个集装箱的费用为8万元,具体投资额需根据现场实际情况进行估算,厂房建设费用根据当地的材料和人工费进行核定。

年运行维护费用海水淡化运行维护费用主要包括:化学药品消耗费用、电力费用、膜更换费用、职工工资及福利费用、固定资产折旧费用、设备大修及检修维修费用、管理费等。化学药品消耗为0.2-0.3元/吨水;主机系统电力费用按照吨水3 kWh - 5kWh进行计算;膜更换费用为0.3-0.5元/吨水;职工工资及福利费用约0.2元/吨水;固定资产折旧费0.9-1.2元/吨水;设备大修及检修维修费用为0.2-0.4元/吨水;管理费小于0.1元/吨水。

Adaptability analysis of the technologyThe RO desalination technology has better application flexibility, and could provide water for urban and industry in coastal cities, industrial parks and islands. The island RO seawater desalination technology with a capacity of 5m3/d-500m3/d, has the characteristics of good adaptability in islands, advanced operability, great safety and stability. It also provides a reliable, efficient and convenient solution to supply fresh water for the civilians on islands.

Stability analysis of the technologyThe island RO desalination technology has great technical stability. Enough investigation on the quality of local seawater is prior over design. The adequate efforts are made to reduce the sensitivity of the equipment to such environmental parameters. The optimal and appropriate equipment is selected according to the water production needs. So, the requisite water supply can be ensured regardless of the seasonal and temperature variations.

Safety analysis of the technologyThis technology does not have the risk of secondary pollution, leakage of flammable, explosive and highly toxic substances and other environmental and safety accidents. The uninterrupted supply of upstream power input is need in the entire RO process . The multi-energy sources coupled power supply could be considered when the conventional power supply cannot be guaranteed. For the coastal area with water shortage, the seawater desalination is the best solution, and the RO technology is the best choice for its most mutual and widely used. Moreover, the desalinated water has been incorporated into the urban water supply network in many provinces and cities of China. This method has effectively relieved the local water shortage. Therefore, seawater desalination has been fully accepted by the market with the improvement of the RO technology.
